How can such a stunningly beautiful spot get like this?
NO doubt this has been mentioned before but if so it warrants being mentioned again but yesterday, Wednesday 30th April, in between the showers, I went for a stroll around one of our local beauty spots, Kinver Edge, as I often do.
Beauty spot? I was appalled by the piles of cow-muck littering large parts of this once beautiful expanse. What idiots or what idiotic department in what Council department or Trust have allowed this to happen? Someone somewhere must have given permission for this area to be defiled in this fashion and I challenge them to reply to this letter in this local newspaper and explain how this has been allowed to take place.
If no permission has been given then the offenders must be prosecuted.
This is a disgusting atrocity and for parents and kids visiting this once beautiful heritage, the sights that now greet them are a grotesque defilement of a once beautiful and much loved part of our local countryside.
This is NOT an area for cattle grazing it is an area of local beauty for the benefit of the public. Surely there are enough fields around for cattle use. Only yesterday there was a story in the national press relating to a women being killed after being trampled by charging cattle. Don't some people ever learn?
This defilement should NEVER NEVER NEVER have been allowed to happen and, as requested above, I challenge the idiotic people who have allowed this to tell us all why, in a reply to this newspaper.

I wholeheartedly agree withand support the comments of this correspondent. I've been complaining about the desecretion of the Edge for several years. To date I have received NOT ONE responce from the supposed [bold]guardians of the Edge, namely The National Trust.[/bold]Rather than being proud of their work they should instead "Hang Their Heads In Shame"
