£6,000 damage to bike at beauty spot

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike was trashed on the Clent Hills.

The Harley Davidson motorbike parked on the car park in Walton Hill had its lights smashed, seat slashed, tyres punctured, and speedometer and registration plates smashed, causing £6,000 damage.

It happened between 5pm and 7.45pm on Saturday May 3.

Pc Mike Roberts, of Hagley Police, said: "Almost every part of the bike was damaged. It was completely trashed.

"While it happened in a remote location, it is a popular walking area and as it was a bank holiday weekend I am hoping someone saw something."

Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact Pc Roberts at Hagley Police Station on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
