A BRIERLEY Hill bed company have helped to give Mary Stevens Hospice customers a sleep tight night while raising £9,000 at the same time.

Dreamland Bedding owner Mike Brown decided to charge a delivery fee to customers and the money from the deliveries he donated to Mary Stevens hospice.

The company decided to help after being asked by Mary Stevens Hospice shop in Brierley Hill to donate any old beds they collect from customers which could be sold in the hospice shops.

Dreamland Bedding already provide a service where they remove old beds and assemble new beds for their customers and decided to charge up to £10 delivery fee for items delivered to raise cash for the hospice, which they started doing in October of last year.

Mike said: "We have raised £9,000 with contributions of our delivery service which we never used to charge before.

"Mary Stevens Hospice needed a new van to collect and deliver furniture to their shops.

"We like to thank our customers for all their help and support."

Business manager Simon Henwood said: "The money Dreamland Bedding has raised is great as we needed a new van and we can buy a new one now.

"It's fantastic, we thank everyone for their support."
